MONTHLY MINDFULNESS MEETING

 

An opportunity to practice mindfulness in an online  group. 

Open to those who have completed an 8 week mindfulness course or equivalent.

By coming along to the monthly mindfulness meeting you become part of a local community of mindfulness practitioners. The group come together monthly to sit, reflect on personal practice, and to offer kindness, support and inspiration to one another as we continue on our journey of personal development.

​

For example, each session may start with a short sit of around 5-10 minutes, allowing us time to settle and fully arrive together. This is followed with time to check-in with each other. We then practice for around 20 mins followed by a practice reflection either around a particular theme or whatever is alive for people in the room. We then finish with another practice to end the session.

In-Person Self-Guided Mindfulness Practice

In-person Practise Sessions 2024

An opportunity to practice mindfulness in an in-person group. 

Open to those who have completed an 8 week mindfulness course or equivalent.

​

10.00 to 11:30 am at Stoke Gabriel Scout Hut on the following Sundays:

 
Sunday 4th Feb 

Sunday 2nd June 

Each session will give us the opportunity to do some self-guided mindfulness practice together.

For example, starting with 25 min body scan, followed by 25 mins of movement, then 25 mins of sitting practice.

Leaving some time at the end for reflection and discussion.

The sessions will be held lightly, ringing a bell to mark the beginning, transitions and end.
